Dalzell Riflesmithing is located at Hampton just 30 minutes drive north of Toowoomba. Dalzell offers a fulltime gunsmithing service on rifles, shotguns and pistols; with particular emphasis on fine sporting rifles. The following categories of firearms are covered A,B,C,D,H and R.     

I first started working on guns as a teenager. This stemmed from having a keen interest in firearms and hunting from an early age. After finishing school I commenced an apprenticeship as a fitter and turner as this would provide the specific grounding and training that would allow me to develop my skills and knowledge when working on a variety of firearms. At the age of 18 I built my first custom rifle on a M98 action in .243, a rifle I still have today, that is on its second barrel. This was the seed from which my passion for fine rifles grew and has continued to mature over the years. 

I have a strong passion for hunting resulting in me traveling extensively to many parts of Australia, New Zealand and Mozambique.

I work on the belief that the customer’s needs are of the utmost importance. The utmost emphasis is placed on discussing and planning each job and making sure that the customer is fully informed from start to finish. This has led to a large percentage of repeat and new customers who seek a personalized approach.
